Vase, fruit, and cloth

Sushi

Sorry about the colors, there was a reflection from the glass

The Classic PB&J

Who doesn't love a good PB&J?? This is definitely one of my favorites, it's so simple but the textures of both the peanut butter and the jelly give it something special.

Vase and Cherries

Cherries, one of my specialties. There is just something about them that makes me love painting them. This was a nice pair and i absolutely loved the colors.

Indiana Jones

A different style for me;not only was it only black, white and grays but if you look closely you will see i only used blocks of color. There was no actual blending; overall it turned out very well for my first one but a bit more challenging.
I hope to do another one like it soon.

Cheesecake

Cheesecake topped with strawberries. Yum...what more can I say?

Spoonful of Coffee Beans

Ironically I really don't like coffee, in fact you could even say I hate it. However one of my favorite painters created a piece like this and I thought it'd be a fun challenge to recreate it. It turned out a lot better than expected, if you'd like to see the original piece check out "michael naples". I never realized how difficult it really is to paint a straight line until this piece came along. Anyways I'm going to try and stay away from that the beans for now, sorry to all you coffee lovers!

Go To Jail, Go Directly to Jail...

Ah one of my favorite childhood games, monopoly. This one was especially fun for me, although the metal game piece was hard to capture it came out quite well I think. Not to mention who doesn't love the car piece?!
I hope to capture the next three corners sometime in the future...
Perhaps next is clue??

Why so Serious?

Ah Heath Ledger as the Joker, a great unforgettable movie which inspired me to make this unforgettable painting. The details and face were especially hard for me, but I don't mind a little challenge. Over all I am happy with this one and hate to see it go.
